Dr. Shore first contacted me in May 2006 to ask about the feasibility of sending Eric Heller's images in "Approaching Chaos" from Cambridge, USA for exhibit at the Powerhouse Museum's Ultimo Science Festival in Sydney, Australia set to open in August. I doubted that anyone could pull together an exhibit in such a short time but Dr. Shore proved he was up to the task. He took charge—selecting the images, creating labels, captions, promotional materials and organizing media coverage. He gathered all legal documents and arranged shipping. All I had to do was assemble the images for shipping. The exhibit was a success due in large measure to Dr. Shore's ability to create concise explanations of complex scientific images that the public could understand. Dr. Shore has allowed us to use his captions in subsequent showings to the relief of other curators and the delight of the public. It truly was a pleasure to work with Dr. Shore.
