Client - Significance International for Telstra

The Heritage Telstra Board engaged Significance International to assess the significance of the large, wide-ranging and disparately located Telstra collection of telecommunications and corporate related items. This assessment was a step in securing the long-term future of the collection. Significance International in turn engaged Jesse to prepare the Statement of Significance for the sub-collection, Objects – Equipment (NSW, Qld & ACT), of the Telstra Heritage Collection. Jesse examined the Sydney based collection, studied object information from other sites, spoke with several caretakers of the collection, liaised with Significance International and their team of nine curators, and submitted his report all within a fast-tracked four week period.
